IEEE INES 2025 Conference – Palermo, Italy
The 29th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Engineering Systems (INES 2025) took place in Palermo, Italy, at the Saracen Sands Hotel & Congress Centre. The event was opened on behalf of Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University, with the official opening delivered by Prof. Dr. László Gulácsi, Vice-Rector for Research at Óbuda University.
This year’s conference received 87 paper submissions, out of which 70 were accepted and published, with participants representing 17 countries. These numbers reflect the conference’s continued international reach and scientific relevance within the field of intelligent engineering systems.
The technical program included high-level plenary lectures by recognized experts. Andrea De Gaetano (National Research Council, Italy, and Óbuda University) held a plenary talk titled PINNs and Sobolev Spaces, while Márta Péntek (Health Economics Research Centre, Óbuda University) delivered a lecture on Value in Health Technology Innovations. Their contributions provided strong scientific foundations for the diverse sessions that followed.
INES 2025 once again served as an important platform for knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary discussion, and international collaboration in intelligent engineering and related fields.
