For this year’s Girls in ICT Day in Szeged, the Neumann Society invited Melánia Pamuki-Puskás, Chair of IEEE Hungary Section Women In Engineering Affinity Group, to give a career orientation talk titled “Shaping the Future as a Woman in Tech – Stories, Challenges, Opportunities.”

The goal was to provide high school girls with real-life examples and inspiration about the many paths informatics has to offer.
The event concluded with an interactive quiz, and the top three participants were awarded gift packages courtesy of Obuda University.
