Career Orientation Day for High School Girls – October 17, 2025

On October 17, the Build the Future – Girls in STEM career orientation day was held to bring the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics closer to high school girls. The full-day program aimed to show, through inspiring examples and hands-on experiences, that engineering and technological careers offer exciting and accessible opportunities for young women.

The event began at the John von Neumann Faculty of Informatics of Óbuda University, where participants could interact with humanoid robots and a robot dog, and take part in guided robotics and coding workshops.
In the afternoon, the program continued at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where students visited the High Voltage Laboratory and the Theodore von Kármán Wind Tunnel Lab, and attended inspirational career-oriented talks.

A total of 41 high school girls participated in the event, coming from five schools across four cities – Budapest, Érd, Győr, and Kiskunfélegyháza.

The day concluded with a quiz, where the most active participants won prizes.
